Had loaned a car to take daughter to a job interview, the hotel carpark Smart park Ltd  issued me a ticket , Even tho the hotel said it was sorted and the sent the reg number to them, well its now £180  the hotel refused to help, and had my daughter worked 10hrs and then said we dont need you... this was 15th July 19 , not heard from them until today
the hotel was informed but still wouldnt help, so not only we have a bill for £180 but they hotel owed daughter £130 wages, the hotel is still staffing this 1 day work system...can any one help us???

Unless you have a court claim with an issue date you cannot be helped

Ideally you require a landowner cancellation

If you have a court claim form pack from the CCBC in Northampton then post the issue date below , if you don't , Smart parking have 6 years to issue a court claim pack

Dont understand what you said.... the letter is from Solicitor from Car Park owner to us for the amount, they will issue court proceedings in 30 days

I think you had better explain a lot more such as who is the solicitor, how much are they claiming ?
You have A LETTER BEFORE CLAIM so long way off any court action

I do not believe that it is from a car park owner , they never are from a car park owner , especially not from a hotel

Which solicitor issued it ?

Does it include financial forms as well as giving 30 days ?

You should have mentioned all this in your opening post , which is light on detail

One year is not a long time ago , not when they have up to 6 years

5.5 years is a long time ago , not 1 year

CST law will either be acting as a solicitor or a debt collector. If the former, the letter should state that it is a letter before claim and you need to respond as per the guide to court written by bargepole that you will find in the second post of the NEWBIES.
If the latter, then it can be ignored as per the fourth post of the NEWQBIES.

If you made an initial appeal to Smart, you would have received a PoPLA code. If so, did you use it?

CST are actually scamming you by adding fake amounts  which are unlawful.  They have copied another legal who is now getting badly spanked by the courts for this. CST is far behind in the game and have yet to experience many court spankings

This is not a ''bill'' and no-one pays Smart Parking.

Please join the CST Law group thread and read it all.  You are at laughable letters stage like everyone else on that group thread and this is a scam.  You need to wise up about the parking charge and Smart Parking!

Of course you must not ignore a COURT CLAIM but nor will you pay, because we win defended cases.    We know what we are doing and you currently have a scam PCN aimed at you and an inflated amount of money they can't get.

You need to also read the NEWBIES FAQS thread post #2 (pre-court and how to win if you get a claim - no risk, no CCJ, all good) and post #4 (ignoring crappy debt letters).
