Car Finance on my part-ex

Hi, looking for advice.
I bought a new car last week and have noticed some figures wrong.
on my vehicle order form I was quoted £23k for my part ex and £27k being sent to the finance company to pay it off. and 2k paid on the day I was fine with this
in the meantime between ordering and picking up the car I paid a payment to the finance company, I was told not to cancel it and I would be getting it back as an over payment
come collection day at Audi I take the car, A week later i now look at the paperwork as the finance company say they dont owe me anything.
And the value of my car was put at 22.5k, instead of 23k and 26k being sent to the finance pay off
I feel they have cheated me because instead of me getting the payment back they have put it against the value of my part ex so they gave me less for it than agreed?
Just wondering where i stand on getting them to pay it to me as they changed the value of my part ex on collection?

Maybe you were confused at the arrangements, the monthly payments is as is, if you get a payment back , look at it as a bonus.

I have the arrangements on the order form and collection day so there is no confusion, and I should be getting the payment back is what i am saying this wont be a bonus, they have decided to take the payment value off the part ex to suit their own pockets and not give it to me

Its not unlikely its in the figures, the finance company say they dont owe me because Audi sent them the settlement figure amount of the figure AFTER the payment, not the agreed upon amount BEFORE I made the payment and change the figures on collection so they have given me 22.5k for my car instead of 23k so the money is in their pockets and im owed nothing?

Well in those figures you state 27k to the finance company but then revised to 26k so is that why they owe you nothing? When I say 'unlikely' what I mean is i find it unlikely they would intentionally rip you off, I have settled finance on a number of BMW,s over the years when trading in and I have been a little confused by all the numbers BUT they are usually spot on. You will have been given 23k for yours I'm sure but its just written differently on the paperwork. Have you asked them for an explanation?

Nevermind they have just called me to say they messed up and they are sorry and im getting the payment refund from them directly instead of the finance company, thanks for the help

Why DO people feel the need to rant and rave on t'interweb instead of giving people the chance to correct errors?  It's like a country firing nuclear bombs at a country  for the smallest excuse.
