Timesare membership .. not delivered due to Covid - should we pay?

I'm very disappointed by our timeshare in the UK.. we couldn't use our rental week at peak April time due to Covid nor any of the leisure facilities which have been closed all through lockdown (so they have not been paying those leisure staff etc- I actually know some of them and they were all furloughed at public pocket expense).  So we got a recent newsletter - not a mention to members who have not had their week - no sense of refund or any other benefit - ie adding missing months onto th emembership etc.
Family with normal gym memberships all had great action with immediate refunds of their direct debits or extensions of their memberships.
T|he next year's maintenance and membership are due now and I am loathe to pay without any news on what restitution we will get for not receiving much of this year's main membership benefits.
Our contract clearly says we are due a week.. and we had paid up to date for this year.
Where do we stand?  Why should we pay in full for the next year?

ps The timeshare contract can only be got rid of by paying a transfer fee of £300 and finding someone to take it on...
