Floridatix change of terms and conditions

Hi there,
Just after some advice really. I bought tickets from Floridatix back in January. Since the outbreak we have had to cancel our trip to florida with no plans on rebooking anytime soon.
Originally the cancellation policy was £25pp. But since the outbreak they have changed it to a 20% admin fee which is a ludicrous amount!
Where do I stand on this issue? I bought the tickets before the change of terms and conditions and was not notified of the change. I emailed floridatix just to be told that I didn't pay for the protection therefore I have to pay the 20% admin fee even though they weren't the terms and conditions I had agreed to. Where do I stand when it comes to my consumer rights?
Will I be able to reclaim through my credit card since I paid through that?
Many thanks

What do Floridatix mean by the statement "I did not pay for the protection"?
I see others have a similar problem. A Trustpilot reviewer claims to have taken them to the small claims court and won. See:
