Given you are opting for solid walls on two sides with glazed roof I believe your design falls more under extension label than comservatory and being on a new build probably requires planning permission.
A fully compliant extension is of more use than the temporary structure conservatory and should at least recoup its cost as adding to footprint.0 -

Got the PP through and am looking to build next year, and it will be a brick-built orangery with a giant lantern, and an all weather room. The one thing I will miss about the excessive heat is being able to dry my washing in it within a couple of hours at this time of the year!No man is worth crawling on this earth.

Hi
I am doing a very similar project in size and style.I went through so many websites and also sought advice from structural engineer because at one point wanted to have a solid roof.
With a tiles solid roof you would need PP and BR.
If your roof is at least 75% glass it would still be considered as conservatory given that majority of your side walls are glass.
I am in London zone 5 and the quote that I was given for proper foundation , insulation etc. came to 19k + Vat.The labs.co.uk website is really good for questions on PP and BR re conservatory.
Let me know what your final quote turned out to be. It has been a nightmare to get ppl out to give you quotes due to the High demand in building work during Covid time.0 -
I think that's silly money to pay for a conservatory with a glass roof. Get a decent structure from the start0

I am surprised at just how shallow conservatory foundations run.No man is worth crawling on this earth.
