Notice Account

I have a redundancy package being paid to me & would like to put it in a 30 day notice account so that I don’t touch it initially but have it available if I do need access - any suggestions please?

If the amount is less than £50K , then premium bonds could be the answer.

There's nothing that stops you from withdrawing your PB deposit the minute it has cleared, which will be less than 7 days. If I understood the OP correct;y, they want to protect themselves from themselves for 30 days. I may have misunderstood.

Yes if the 30 day notice was an absolute must have then PB's are not the answer. However unlike say an easy access savings account on line or with an app , you would probably be less tempted to make withdrawals with PB's .
