Putting a divider in shared pvc guttering?

I have a linked bungalow and my first job on arrival was to clear the gutters. The tiles are some sort of cementy stuff that sheds a sand like grit with rain.
Then I found my neighbour wouldn't clear hers, nor her 2 grown sons or brother and never got round to getting someone to do it. She has more down pipes than me so this shouldn't be affected.
I'd like to put a small barrier in the guttering on the two lengths we share at the garages so that when I clean mine the gunk from hers doesn't just drain into it.
I could make a divider with plastic cut to shape that goes half way up stopping the grit/grime but letting water over in a downpour but not sure how to securly stick it. Does anyone have any ideas?

cut the gutter pipe and depending on whether its round or square or white or black. You would just fix a end cap on.

They can't to that if the fall of the gutter for both properties is towards their downpipe.  Doing so could lead to the gutter over the neighbouring property overflowing, causing damage, and the OP being liable.

Excellent thank you all. I have some Gorilla glue but haven't tried it yet. I'm a bit of a skeptic about the claims of these things. The pipe weld cement looks interesting, it may sort out the rubbish guttering problems too before I go to the trouble of refixing every joint. Tellit, true, but I'm not sure there is a fall on these gutters which is giving me and people in the past a repeated problem of drips.
I hadn't thought of the simplest soloution of just putting a couple of strips, one on top of the other, of sealent of some sort. It should stop the gritty substance and dirt  but not impeed excessive water moving along. Also it wouldn't look suspicious me being up a ladder with a glue gun. I'll check if there is a fall while I'm up there not that I can do much about it.
The previous owner of the adjoining bungalow put in downpipes in a differnt place to the original to water plants and supply water butts. I have the originals in useless places.

If there are downpipes on both properties, and the fall of the gutter is sch that water will flow to the relevant downpipes, then separate the gutter completely. Cut and add 2 end stops.
If not then any blockage you create could result in damage for which you would be liable (eg neighbour's gutter overflows and causes penetrating damp to the wall.)

I've used silicone as a temp repair on a end stop 7/8 years ago it still works no leaks.

It's a thought Greatcreasted but a bit extreem perhaps and would take some negotiation and a lot of worry with a community of eldery neighbours. I think I'd rather continue the cleaning. It's exercise.
Thats good to know 53. I did think I'd try bathroom silicone to see if I could fix what seems to be a perenial drip. Someones used ordinary silicone before obviously and replaced. I think it's just bad errection of guttering or it maybe a past neighbours moving of his pipes altered things.
None of it's major, just irritating.
