Trustee Discharge

Hi there. I had a four year trust deed from 2015-2019. I made my final payment at the end of Feb-19. We are now at the end of July-20 , 17 months after I completed my trust deed and yet the trustee has STILL not discharged himself! As such there us still debt showing on my credit file. This feels completely excessive and unfair. I feel as though I am being obstructed from rebuilding my credit. I have written to the financial services ombudsman but due to covid they are taking an age to get back to me. The trust deed company haven’t got back to me also. I could understand a slight delay of a few months for administrative purposes or suchlike but 17 months feels quite injurious to tell you the truth. Interestingly, it is only one creditor who has not updated my credit file. I don’t know if they are just being difficult or if the other creditors were just being nice. Either way, they say they have not received notification that the trustee has discharged themself and thus they cannot update my credit file. Does anyone have any thoughts or insights?
