  • Great, thank you all for the advises! Reading other posts here are also very helpful. I will just ignore the PCN and keep it at the back of my head at the moment. I will keep this thread updated if anything happens.

I'm not sure if there is a law that can override the T&C above.

Consumer Rights Act 2015  may well cover this.  IMO, if they are daft enough to try court they may end up with an eggy face.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

No, that is not what you do. You appeal, using the standard appeal template as per the NEWBIES sticky. If it gets to court, it helps to be seen to have engaged.
  • An update: we've received letters from the debt collector and they offer to use Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) from IAS with requirement that we have to accept whatever IAS says. Should we go to IAS's ADR or is there any other ADR available?

Of course you dont use the paid for IAS service which binds you! Thats insanity!
Your research on this forum - which youre expected to do - or just reading the newbies thread tells you not to go near this.
No, you have no ADR available other than this scam

You were advised in July to read the NEWBIE sticky and, if you had done so, you would have seen the part that said DO NOT use the kangaroo court that is the IAS.

Why would ANYONE consider paying £15 to lose at the kangaroo court that the NEWBIES thread post #3 warns NEVER to use?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
