Holiday entitlement whilst furloughed

I have been furloughed for 18 weeks and due to return to work on the 3/8/2920.
My employer has taken 12 days of my holiday entitlement by paying the 20% shortfall in my last wage packet.
I was not notified or given any notice that this would happen.
Are they entitled to do this.

They should have notified you by giving you 24 days notice. But consider this: what do you think would happen if you kicked up a fuss about it?0
