On each photo (when viewed in the browser) there will be a 'share' icon which brings up the option to email them, or at the bottom, create a link / facebook / twitter
I do understand that some people have a certain way of doing things and that's how it is! 🤦‍♀️
I can't see her handling the need to save them from her emails or dealing with bounces because the email is too large.
Links are definitely too complicated and she doesnt really do Facebook/Twitter.

Ok, so she just wants to view them in a larger form than on her phone? Buy her a cheap tablet that will have the GP app installed and she can see them better.
If she can't handle a PC it seems pointless going around in circles trying to get GP to fit her needs.

If you send it in an email then she needs to understand how to save them from an attachment. She might just get this idea, but it's an extra complication.
If she sends half a dozen photos in an email, it may get rejecting at the receiving end because the email is too large. This will be another extra complication.

She needs them downloaded to her PC, so she can attach them to message board posts or emails.

I believe it used to be possible to get it to work exactly as I wanted, but you have made me think. The places she wants to post are sites like Freegle and Freegle, at least, has an app, so she can post from her phone, as long as she finds the app usable.

I use Syncthing, which automatically syncs the Camera folder to a folder on my PC when I'm at home. No need to share it with Google.
