How do I differentiate between hard and soft ride tyre brands? Is it related to any other tyre

Is it getting dark in here? Or does it not matter.1

Can’t remember the name and model as it was along time ago but I had “soft” tyres once and my god they wore out quick. Never again0

More likely related to how much air is in the tyre than the tyre brand. If you want a softer ride, let some air out and run at the lowest pressure specified for your car. If you want a harder ride and more economy, pump the tyres up a bit to the highest pressure specified.

50 series at 32PSI or a 55 series at 36PSI? Sidewall construction? Wheel geometry? Weight?
Its a dark art and very little of it matters as long as its black and round.
