Furlough and annual leave

Hi, I've been looking through other posts but still confused.  My partner's usual pay is £50k per annum. He's been on furlough since end of May with pay capped at £2500.00 per month. He returned to work 1 day per week from 1 July 2020.  He has 5 days annual leave in August that was booked pre COVID19. Should this be paid at his usual salary (£4166.67 per month) or will it be paid at his furloughed capped salary of £2500 per month?

Holiday should normally be paid at full rate.

Thank you. will wait to see what he gets paid. He's potentially resigning, and even with the week off in August is still owed approx. 10 days leave so assuming they should be paid at full rate as well?

Yes. He should be paid his normal rate for his notice period as well, unless it exceeds the statutory minimum for more than a week, when it will depend on what his contract of employment and furlough agreement say. They can ask him to take holiday in the notice period, but would have to give twice the notice as the length of holiday, again unless the contract of employment says otherwise.
