Any thoughts on Barrick Gold (ABX)? listed on the Canadian Market (also on NYSE) I own these shares by default really as I  bought uk listed Randgold Resources some years ago on a dip, they recovered somewhat and in January 2019 merged with Barrick.  They are up 138% since the merger.
  • Good company, should do well with gold at highs and outlook positive.

Has a little damage sadly around the edge, so even at 1kilo silver scrap value would be acceptable I think, that is how I bought it a while back.

Who would buy a limited edition coin then take it out of the packaging to the extent that it's worn around the edges? The sort of people who bought Star Wars figures when they were kids and TOOK THEM OUT OF THE PACKAGING!

    Have you had it assayed?

I'm glad this thread was created. What was missing in my life at the moment was understanding Ed's thoughts on gold.

Chards, atkinsons or Hatton Garden metals depending who was offering the highest price at the time.
  • Trouble is you have to entrust your krugs to the vagaries of the royal mail. I just sent something 'signed-for' and it seems to have been delivered to completely the wrong post code.
