Thread hijack by a crashy property double the OP's price range.

    Getting desperate(again).

If you like desperation have a troll round with PropertyLog, very entertaining at the moment.
Yes it is showing a lot of properties in our particular area increasing their asking prices and properties selling very quickly. Good houses are selling within a few days of going on the market.

    Very entertaining.
Actual sold prices for the East Midlands are falling though, and that is on collapsed transactions?

Could probably find one substantial price drop as well if you want? Might be issues other than just the general economy causing it though.

That certainly isn't what we are seeing on the ground so to speak. Perhaps the East Midlands is too wide an area for it to be accurate. How local can that search go? We are in the S post code area if it can go that local or Bassetlaw if it will go to local authority level.

Can I ask why you subscribe to Plumplot if you have no interest in home ownership?

Subscribe? It is free for the basic graphs etc. If you are a happy homeowner why so concerned about people tracking price drops on the internet?

I'm not. It just seems odd for someone who claims to have no interest in home ownership to be using sites tracking house prices.

    Narrowed down to Postcode level.

Still doesn't seem to marry up with what is actually happening here but that could be because it has yet to filter through the Land Registry. Interesting site though.
