Noisy Neighbours - need advice on taking action / recording evidence

Considering that you have or have had noise issues with 2 sets of neighbours, do you have a problem with noise sensitivity? As that is what this sounds like. Maybe you are not cut out for flat dwelling as neighbour noise is often a problem with them. Ideally I want something to record 24/7 which I can edit together for evidence. If it can be edited then it is unlikely to be admissable as evidence due to being able to be altered.

As that is what this sounds like. That sounds like victim blaming. The op has listed the problem which is something most of us do not have to tolerate. I've had at least four noisy neigbours, am I noise sensitive? I've found noise sensitivity is contagious as when I match their noise they become "noise sensitive".Living in an attached property everyone will have to tolerate a level of noise but everyone should also moderate their behaviour to suit where they live. Those that don't are ignorant and selfish.7

Talking from experience, I really think this isn’t going to be able to be resolved.
I currently rent privately but the properties above and below me are council properties. Both are very loud - that’s just how they operate. Loud conversations, doors slamming, people coming and going, arguments, etc etc. Bringing it up has resulted in very little happening - ultimately they don’t like what they see as me telling them what to do, and laboring the point will just result in a toxic atmosphere and breakdown of civility. They see nothing wrong with how they are behaving.
Unless they are very clearly crossing a line, I doubt the council or police will be interest I’m afraid!0 -
I believe that putting up with this for so many years I have become highly sensitive to noise, particularly car doors banging.
It doesn’t sound promising from my point of view, seems that you don’t have much to fight with. Sad isn’t it... I’m the only one in the flats who works... I’m paying there JSA, absolutely exhausted and wondering what’s the point of life, while they just do as they want when they want, they get up about 2pm and go to bed about 3am. SAD.
As they often dictate my bed time, maybe I should start drilling the wall every morning when I wake up to go to work. If they decide my sleep time, why can’t I decide there waking up time 😀

That sounds like victim blamingNot victim blaming, just assessing the first post where ALL the problems appear to be the OP's intolerance of noise.
