Cancelling An Easyjet Flight One Way

Wondering if anyone knows the answer to this question.  My wife, myself and son are (hopefully) holidaying in Croatia at the end of August.  We have three return flights booked with Easyjet.  Our son has decided that he will make his own way there and then fly back with us.  I was wondering whether it would be best to cancel his outbound flight but worried as to whether this would also cancel the inbound? Also, if we don't do this and he is a no-show at the airport when travelling out will Easyjet automatically cancel his return flight?  Many thanks.

Cancelling it yourself is pointless given you wont get any money back from it.

And no, Easyjet is a point to point airline, what happens before on previous flights is of no consequence.

But couldn't Son transfer the outbound flight to another destination/date in the future rather than losing outright ?

Well he could, but the OP didnt want to consider this option it seems, or never knew he could. Also no idea how easy it is to do this online when you only want to change one flight out of six, the lead passenger may have to ring them to do it instead. Good luck at the moment.

Thanks for the advice folks!  Was most keen to understand whether no-show or cancelling one flight would affect the other but thanks for saying that this wont be an issue.
