Morning all, just.
Only a quick visit to assure you that I'm still around, though well screened by cardboard boxes. Will try to keep up with what is happening in people's lives.
nmlc, families can be the pits, can't they. It's usually the ones who do nothing to help that scream the loudest at people who are trying to keep all the balls in the air. Sad fact of life.
Gers. Feel for your mother whose clothes don't fit. I have the same problem with Gangsta Granny next door. She looks as though a puff of wind will blow her over. I'd just like to see it try! She is officially an 8 but the last pair of trousers her daughter bought her were too big round the waist. Her trouble is that she is an anxious twitchy sort of person who is never still. I'm trying to inject her with my lazy serum. I have plenty to spare!
nanny, I'm another who likes to finish a meal with something sweet. It's a bit old fashioned I suppose, but that's the way we were brought up. There was always a pudding!
Back to the grindstone.

It was! It was really nice [ I didn't put sultanas or dried nuts in it, I'll probably put nuts in next time for a bit of texture] so thank you very muchBella, good news about your mother! AOD , your dinosaur sounds really cool. Gers, I did wonder....poor love...Ruby, that was what my OH christened it, I wish I had thought of it
..And I think Nelski called it that too...Nanny, yes, same as. I;ve been better with food but I still fancy the odd bit of cake. Mine I think comes more from boredom, I'm not doing as much as I could. I made one with defrosted banans and use the juice that cam out too it was more banana-y than normal
