My friend had a week in Majorca booked for the end of August with 'Voyage'. BA cancelled the flights but Voyage won't offer a change to the dates for the hotel booking..

So if he cancels, he loses the 30% deposit. After 29th July goes up to 50%.

He has until Tuesday to cancel or pay the next installment / rest of deposit?

He has until Tuesday. Thoughts, please?

Same problem voyage won't respond to emails our hotel is closed . But no email nothing have paid deposit if we want to cancel we have to pay a further 300 pound making it 820 lost. If we pay balance we may loose 1780 pound .it's rediculous. ?

Who are Voyage, is it Voyage Prive or some other company? Is it a package holiday with an ATOL Certificate in which case the company is obliged to offer a full refund of all money, or is this some cobbled together holiday in which only the accommodation has been booked with Voyage in which case if the accommodation is available then there is no right to a refund, so don't pay a penny more. Without more information no one can give definitive advice

My friend is very appreciative but says ‘Voyage Prive are not offering amendments on the booking. Also if I pay the balance, I'll lose all the money for the booking. ( if I cancel )
My options are very limited.‘

I asked whether it was a package with an ATOL Certificate, that determines your legal  rights irrespective of what they say

You really need to provide full and proper information if you are seeking help from the MSE community.  Drip feeding details (and reporting the incorrect company name) does not help get you or your friend information.
