Hi, the website has been updated as follows:
We are still operating holidays to four destinations in Mainland Spain (Costa de Almeria, Costa Blanca, Costa del Sol and Costa Calida), which are open and are located away from areas which have been impacted by increased cases of Covid-19. In light of the updated advice from the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO), we are providing customers travelling to these four destinations with a number of options including continuing with their travel as planned, a refund credit note, a fee free amendment, or a refund.
So basically, you can get a refund whether they are still planning to go or whether they cancel it themselves. To be honest I have found Jet2 great. They refunded my Gran Canaria trip for March within 24 hours, they moved my May Montenegro trip for a favourable price to October, they refunded my October Montenegro trip within 10 days without me having to trigger anything after they withdrew from that destination. I am now waiting to see what happens to my Gran Canaria trip 4 weeks today (such a long time in Covid times so will worry about it nearer the time).

I’m impressed. I was due to fly out to Spain tomorrow to visit family. Last nights announcement left me thinking I would either lose all the flight money or have to risk flying against advice which would void travel insurance and cause me problems with work having to quarantine on return. Received a text message this morning from Jet2 saying that flights would still run for people wanting to go, but that anyone due to be flying very soon would receive an email later today providing other options and that phone lines were currently extremely busy, but to look out for the email. As promised, by about 7.30pm this evening an email came through giving the options to still fly, reschedule, credit voucher for future use, or cash refund. Submitted my request and it says they will now process in order of soonest flights. This was the first time booking with Jet2 and on this performance so far, they will definitely be first on my list to try for any future flights.0
