Best way to finance property valued under 50k

    I do wonder if house value correlate with the quality of tenants. For example, a house worth 80-100k tend to have more problems with its tenants compared to a house worth, say, 200-300k with a family in them. Feel free to add your insights to this.

    My friend's situation was over a substantial farmhouse in a national park...

    Once you get away from the absolute rock-bottom of any local market, I'm not sure you can extrapolate very much.

    House next door to me is let out. I know the LL (she used to live there). It's probably worth £350-£400k. (I don't really look at house values often)
    The last tenant (mother with daughter who then moved out and sub let It) had to be evicted after 6 months non payment of rent. She (LL)  reckons it cost  them £10k with lack of rent, damages and legal costs. They never got any money back from the tenant who was untraceable and probably  went back to Euroland.
