Considering a Berkeley development to buy a house. How much can you negotiate the price down these days?

We bought a David Wilson new build house last year. The house was ready to move into and already heavily discounted. Previous plots had sold for £235k, £230k and £225k the asking price for this one was £210k.
We part exchanged our old house against it and got a good price for it. We also got £10k deposit contribution, stamp duty paid, legal fees paid and a moving costs contribution. Coupled with not having estate agents fees to pay and moving in 3.5 weeks we were really happy with the deal.0 -

It was a cracking deal but the plot had sat around on their books for while so they wanted it sold.gab3x said:

A lot will depend on how popular the estate is and the house type you want.1
