Why do you "think" you need a new SIM?1

How are you trying to contact Virgin? Do you have an online Virgin account?
My wife and I both have phones with PAYG Virgin SIMs.
A few months ago we were contacted by letter and advised that they would send us new SIMs as our old SIMs would soon cease to function. Virgin sent us new SIMS a few days later and we swapped them for the old ones.
Did your husband also receive a new SIM within the last few months?
Do Virgin have your address?
Perhaps he does need a new SIM.
A man walked into a car showroom.
He said to the salesman, “My wife would like to talk to you about the Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
Salesman said, “We haven't got a Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
The man replied, “You have now mate".1 -
Thanks for the reply.
He can't get mobile data to work.We both had new sims sent 2/3 months ago.
We have tried the sim in two other phones and mobile data didn't work.
Virgin mobile haven't been answering the phone. You get all the spiel and different options, then it says Virgin Mobile is closed. We have tried ringing at different times of the day.

Virgin mobile haven't been answering the phone, but i've just tried and it says to ring back after 8am. Will try ringing tomorrow.
Can you get mobile data on your phone ? If so check that he has the same settings on his phone, you may need to tell us which phones you have in case you don't know how to check

A few weeks ago, Virgin/EE was down for a day. When it came back on, I discovered my phone had no data connection. I phoned Virgin and got through to CS, where I had to go through the rigmarole of security check, which I failed. I eventually cut the call, then a few minutes later called again and got through to a lady who could have been in the next room, she was so clear, and with minimal security checks, rectified the matter. It was simply settings on my phone and was cleared up in a couple of minutes. So...........no need to leave Virgin!!
