In the last week we have found out our flights with easyjet have changed for journeys in the next 3 weeks to Barcelona. The return journey has changed once from a 3.10pm flight to 7am flight. But the outbound has now changed twice from 7am to 2.10pm now it is 8pm. All in the last 7 days. Insurance will not cover as does not have travel disruption. The flights were booked through a TA which originally included a cruise which has been cancelled. What do you think our chances of getting a refund?

Easyjet classes significant changes (allowing refund) as 5 hours

You would need to speak to your travel agent to advise that the new flight times are not suitable so you are requesting a refund
  • We have emailed them middle of week stating this. But no response yet. They have also switched all phonelines and social media off. On their email they stated more or less this is out of their hands.

what do the terms and conditions of the travel agent state regarding changes by the supplier?
  • This is the section i can find on flight delys.

    10) Flight or Cruise Cancellations/Delays

    • Flights – Under EU Law, you have rights in some circumstances to refunds and/or compensation from the airline in cases of denied boarding, cancellation or delays. Full details of these rights will be available at EU airports and other airlines. Please note however, that reimbursement is the responsibility of the airline and does not entitle you to a refund of your holiday price from us and we shall not be liable for any additional costs incurred by you as a result of such flight delays, including, but not limited to accommodation costs or meals. If your airline does not comply with these rules you should complain to the Air Transport Users' Council on 020 7240 6061 www.auc.org.uk.
  • But they also state in another section that they class a minor change to flights as any thing under 12 hours. Due to the latest chane the change is now 13 hours after our original booking
