Apparently you can save with NS&I up to £1 million.     Is that £1 million 100% guaranteed ?

    NS&I is essentially owned by the UK government, so basically yes, you're guaranteed to get your money back. 

    Unless the UK goes bankrupt of course. If that happens then we'll all be worrying, regardless of whether we have money in NS&I or not.
