Which tradesman would fix a poor TV signal and remove an unused Sky dish?

Options
I have an issue where I get poor TV signal downstairs even when using the aerial socket. Upstairs is fine.

I also have an unused Sky dish and horrible ugly cables associated with it in every room from the previous home owner. I want to remove the dish and all the cables and patch the holes in the wall inside and out.

What tradesman would deal with these? I'm thinking electrician, but I'm thinking it's maybe not really what they specialise in, and perhaps there is someone more suited who may do it cheaper. Any ideas?

To sort out your reception problems you need an aerial fitter, he could remove the old dish too. When he's finished a general handyman could tidy up inside.
Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.

Definitely an aerial installer for the reception problem and they will remove the dish and cabling too.  You might get somebody 'cheap' to remove the dish and cabling but sorting out reception issues is a skilled job.

Be very careful selecting an aerial company. Many of the national sharks have registered local sounding domains to include your county. I called one thinking they were local, I needed a DAB aerial putting up (cable already run to the roof) and a satellite dish aligning as I had moved the brackets and installed my own dish with quattro LNB for distribution around the house via a multiplexer. Everything was there and ready. The guy came and quoted £600 for what was 20 mins work. I thanked him for his time and he immediately reduced it to £400. I sent him on his way, went to Wickes and bought a roof ladder attachment for my ladder, did the DAB aerial myself and lined the satellite dish up roughly using a compass, protractor and bamboo cane, then tweaked the signal to max using the signal strength indicator on my Freesat TV. Took me half an hour.
You don't need an electrician, just a handyman for removal of stuff, but be sure you won't need Freesat in the future as your existing dish and cables should be able to provide that now.
