HSBC mortgage

Hi does anyone happen to know what HSBC’s mortgage lending criteria is for 2020?

    It is quite a broad question - they have hundreds of different bits of criteria - what bit of criteria do you want to know?

    I just need to know where they stand on late payments really, as my wife has a couple dating April 2018 and March 2019 but they were paid straight away once she realised her mistake so no arrears

    HSBC are one of the strictest lenders out there. I wouldn't like to say without seeing a credit report.
    What % deposit?

    I’ve just had a look on there thanks 👍🏼 It said no missed payments will be accepted. But my wife has 2 late payments one from over 2 years ago and one from over 12 months ago. Are missed payments and late payments two different things? I was under the impression they were completely different

    It will depend how it is recorded on the credit file.
    Best advice is to speak to a broker and show them the credit files

    Thanks, on her Experian it shows as late payments
