HI, are there any additional fees applied for the revolut account funding from a credit card? I know this is treated as cash advance but many lenders just don't apply fees (at least in Poland) anyway. Specifically asking about Capital One

Best ask capital one. As different card providers have their own way of dealing with Revolutcactooos said:HI, are there any additional fees applied for the revolut account funding from a credit card? There are no fees for loading your Revolut account apart from what your card provider charges. I once loaded my Revolut card in error using my UK Capital One card and I can confirm they treated it as a cash advance and charged a cash transaction fee - you'll need to query it specifically with your provider.0

Depends on the provider.
I actually was doing this on 3 cards. A nationwide select (0.25 %) cashback, an amazon (amazon points) and a nectar credit card. (points).
It was all going very smoothly, and then ALL 3 suddenly charged me through the roof. I was also put under a 'lock' from revolut. I had to verify my account through Revolut. Now this is obviously not good, and this came from the end of Revolut, they somehow managed to change it from a cash transaction to a cash advance.
Jump forward a few months, I verified my account, and revolut is working fine again. My amazon and necter cards will NOT take transactions to revolut anymore, i have to call them or do some other mumbo jumbo, not worth the risk.
However, my lovely little nationwide card is working beautifully now. I started off doing small transactions of little amounts at a time and testing, I then moved the amounts upwards and upwards slowly. One thing you must make sure you do is to keep your money in there for a few days, don't move out what you've just put in. Also use your revolut for day to day spending so you look like a normal customer.
I know put in my credit max limit once a week £6500 - thats 16.50 cachback. I then use my card as normal and withdraw a few thousand a few days later, continue and eventually get the account back down to a few hundred pounds. Then I'll upload from the card again.
It's a difficult balance and a gamble, and I know the risks, I could get seriously stung if they start suspecting suspicious activity but its NOT illegal, I am playing the game and I know the risks. But I wouldn't advise anyone to do it unless they knew what they were doing and accepted the gamble.1 -
Just wondering wiith the recent Curve card problems, at the moment it's working but not passing thorugh the MCC code to the underlying card. When I've used it shopping, the transaction shows as "Groceries" on Curve but "Services" on the underlying card so may have a try and top up Revolut with Curve and see what happens.0

Do not top up your Revolut with a Capital One credit card. I found out the hard way and posted about it a few weeks ago:

I topped up my Revolut a few days ago with Nationwide and Virgin credit cards, £20 each and they both went through fine with no fees. So today I topped up over £300 from the Virgin card.
All done through Curve and they both show the transactions as Professional Services, so no money advance fees.
