Pardon me?dahj said:EEA Banking licence requiring €100,000 ( or equivalent) protection but you know that already and are just being rude.
There is no such thing as an FSCS licence.
Nor does any of the currency transfer services provide any €100,000 guarantee.0 -
I went for Starling Bank and it was pretty smooth with decent rates.

Just out of interest, has anyone tried Revolut for this purpose? Is there a max transfer and what are the fees?

Lots of people are using Revolut. In common with other transfer services, Revolut do not have FSCS protection, which largely rules them out for me, especially if there's a perfectly good alternative with FSCS protection. But you might have a higher risk tolerance than me and be fine if you lost your money in the transfer.Harmonica89 said:Just out of interest, has anyone tried Revolut for this purpose? For limits and fees, see https://www.revolut.com/help
