Furlough payment / giving notice

My last furlough payment was the wk ending 5th of july, I gave a wks notice 13th_20th july (only needed to give a wks notice)started new job on the 20th, been told I'm not entitled to furlough from the 5th to the 20th is this correct

You should have been paid for 100% of your wage for your notice period as it was the statutory minimum period. Whether your employer claimed 80% of that under CJRS is a matter for them.1
