Parkdean holiday

I had a holiday booked with Parkdean Resorts which I cancelled due to the covid-19 pandemic. I asked for a refund of the money that I had paid but they said that the covid-19 pandemic was not a valid reason for the cancellation. Despite my querying this they said that all they could offer me was a voucher towards another holiday, which I reluctantly accepted. When the voucher arrived it was only valid until 30 November 2020. I have asked if it can be extended to 2021. Am I within my rights to request this?

    No.

You cancelled due to not wanting to travel and this is disinclination to travel, no where will refund you on this basis COVID or not.

They didn’t even have to offer you the voucher, many places have not. I appreciate this isn’t the resolution you were after but you have actually been treated very fairly by Parkdean.
