14 day quarantine

I am due to fly to Portugal in a couple of weeks. If I am unable to use the flights due to the 14 day quarantine requirement on return to the UK can I claim from my credit card? Ryanair will not give a refund as the flight is going ahead. But impossible for me to use the flights due to the quarantine requirement on return.

No, as the flight is being provided. You would need to look your travel insurance.2

Travel insurance route only I’m afraid and they may not pay out based on the situation because Ryanair have kept their end of the bargain.0

"In a couple of weeks" the situation may have changed and the 14 day quarantine may not apply to Portugal.dan_1975 said:I am due to fly to Portugal in a couple of weeks. IMHO I'd go and then cross that bridge if/when it comes to it.0 -

(I believe that Ryanair are allowing free changes if you booked since the beginning of July)Do you have insurance, who is it with, and when did you take it out?Any recent insurance policy I have seen will cover you for any disruption that is COVID19 related (unless it is because you, or your party, actually have COVID19).0
