Can Airlines 'Un-cancel' their scheduled flights

We are scheduled to fly on the 20th August, to Faro. The airline appears to only give you 7 days notice of cancellation. If, after receiving the cancellation, they decide to reinstate their flight, are we contractually obliged to go?

I would not think so as long as you had been informed that your flight was cancelled....happened to me at the start of this. Domestic BA flight cancelled and was emailed and offered earlier departures or refund. By the time I got through to them the earlier flights had all been cancelled and the later flight re-instated. I quoted that I had received my email advising the flight was cancelled and wanted my refund which was dealt with without issue.
