Trace Debt Recovery and now Trace Legal letter received. Need Help Please!

Hoping for a bit of advice here please. I mistakenly didn't let DVLA know when I moved house, subsequently apparently received a parking ticket in an NCP run station car park, however didn't receive the fine as I no longer lived at that address. Have since received letters from Trace and now Trace Legal.
If I was in the wrong and forgot to pay for the parking I'm happy to pay the fine, but how can I go about that as NCP won't take payment now...
Thanks

They no doubt added a fake £60/£70 ? That alone makes their claim unreliable and will now be subject to Abuse of process

You don't pay, you just wait now

Thanks beamerguy.
Yes it includes £60 added, noted as 'Additional charges have been levied by our client to cover the cost of recovery'
I called them previously as I had no details of a PCN and got some details, said I would look into it. Should I not write to them?
What about the initial fine - should I pay that? It could be genuine however I'm surprised if I forgot to pay...

Trace knows this and it's just a scam try-on.
FORGET TRACE, simple timewasters. You can SAR NCP for the full information.
Enclose a further letter asking what legal authority they have to add £60 considering Trace say "levied by our client" .......2 -
They've added 'Legal' to their title to intimidate. There's no entity by that name on the Companies House register. They have no more power than Trace (with no 'Legal' added), ie - unable to do much else than send silly, ignorable letters. Just file them should an actual claim come from NCP.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP., it can cause the scammer extra costs, and in some cases, cancellation.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up later this year,
Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these companies, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Of course you are not paying. It's not a fine. No saying that you want to offer to pay or what happened.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
