Furloughed Holiday accrual

I am on a zero hour contract. The Agency I work for has told me that I owe them 39 hours in holiday pay. This is because they paid me for a weeks holiday in April (which I did not request).
Also, they are suggesting that zero hour employees do not accrue annual leave over furloughed time.
Please clarify.

I'd like to know about the holiday entitlement too as the agency I work for has said the same about my holidays. I work on average 48 hours per week for the last 4 years non stop. I did look on the government web site and from what I could make of it we should be getting holidays for the time we were furloughed, 10 weeks in my case which equates to around 5.5 holidays. The only reason I can think of them saying we are not entitled to them is because it will hit them in the pocket as they had over 50 on furlough.0

According to the guidance leave continues to be accrued at the statutory level.

All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.1 -
