Plumbers please help! Water leaks from ceiling!!

Hi all! I made a stupid mistake and it caused water leakage from kitchen ceiling and water leaked like waterfall!! Basically, I didn’t know there were small holes next to pipes which are behind both sink and toilet. I pour water to on the bathroom floor so I can clean the floor using a mop (it was what I was planning to do). After a while, I realised the water I poured didn’t flood the bathroom floor, instead, it disappeared. I figured out later that all water leaks from the kitchen ceiling! I wiped and cleaned the kitchen already and there is no more leakage. But what should I do now? Can plumber or engineer figure out where does the water leakage from? And what should i do with the ceiling? Sorry for my stupidity and please ask both of my questions

That is not the way to use a mop. If you pour water onto a floor you are likely to do long term damage.0

Don't you have a mop bucket? Pouring water onto the floor like that (even if it doesn't escape) would be a nightmare to clean up as it all needs to be absorbed - you're effectively flooding the room with that method. Mop buckets (ideally with a mop squeezer if you're using a traditional type of round head mop) mean you can mop with hot water containing floor cleaner to lift the dirt more effectively, and the floor will also dry up reasonably quickly.
This sort of thing...

If you're using a sponge mop which has a lever to squeeze the 2 parts of the head together then you just need a suitably sized bucket.0 -
Why would you need a plumber?
You poured water that found its way down. It's not a leak.0 -
