They concluded that my initial loan was affordable, but the increase in the credit limit wasn't and this lead to financial difficulty. They have offered to refund interest from Oct 2016 until Oct 2017 (when they took a full repayment and reduced my credit limit to 0!)
Refund of £1047 including 8% interest and tax deducted.

That's £2167 in the past 4 weeks from 4 lenders! 10 to go
Go you!! Well doneSmiling and waving0 -
Do pay day U.K. Normally acknowledge your complaint. I haven't heard back at all from them or wonga.
Text loan have replied asking for wage slips and bank details. I worked out from my bank statements they owe me around £700 plus intrest. So hopefully I can get one in the bag.
Fingers crossed. Contacted fso about cheque centre to see if they can help me. Don't see me getting a penny back from the administration0 -

MyJar have decided to not uphold my complaint - sent to the FOS after their final response which only took 3 days.
Mr Lender gave me a £$*&%( response so I was kind and provided additional information for them to look atWe shall see.

Good Afternoon All.
Advice please... i have asked 4 payday loans company for money back (although i paid all loans i had taken out with them, i keep paying off on date but reapply straight after) this went for about 4 years, Whats the chances of getting money back?
Thanks

You can try it and see, repeat lending (or paying off and immediately relending) should be a marker to the loan company that the debt is unaffordable.0

Pay day uk are trying to make me send a cheque for £1 for a statement or accounts.
Is this required as I have all bank statements with all loan details on them.
I know they try and drag their feet so just wondering if this is required.
Surely if I say they owe me a figure and produce bank statements that is adequate.
I sent back an email saying I won't be paying that and that the 8 week count down started from the day they received my complaint.
Is that ok??0 -

Morning,
Depends on the circumstances as all cases are different. however, repeat lending is not something considered affordable or responsible generally so sounds like you have a reasonable case.
Were they all within 6 years?
Currently around 50-70% of cases (either through the company or the FOS) are being upheld for refunds on some or all loans.
Good luck.Smiling and waving0 -

Hi,
If you are able to make a complaint detailed enough without their statement of account, I would suggest you just crack on. (It does seem like you have anyway. Did you actually complain at this point or just ask for a statement of accounts? If you only asked for a statement, the 8 week clock hasn't started yet)
I personally wouldn't give them a figure on how much you want back, just frame the position at the time you took the loans, talk about repeat borrowing, irresponsible or unaffordable lending and allow them to work out the figure. PDUK are currently taking longer than the 8 weeks so at 8 weeks + 1 day, raise your complaint to the FOS so you can get in the queue for the adjudicator. They may well come back with a final response whilst you are in the queue, and you can either accept or forward on to the FOS.
Good luckSmiling and waving0
