Criminal Injuries Compensation (CICA)

Hello,
I have been a victim of assault and was wondering if I should get a solicitor for my CICA claim as they may get a better result than if I did it myself?
I am in a bit of stress about it as there is the CICA claim but also I have suffered mentally and physically and cannot work for 12 months due to the injuries. The case is going to court for GBH.
ANY HELP OR ADVICE IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!
Many thanks

Whatever you decide to do i don't think this is one for an internet forum, especially not the benefits section.0

I think there have been threads about how compensation payments affect benefits but not about the compensation claim process itself.daysaunders87 said:
