The best solution is not to go around wearing stupid gas masks and just breathe normally and freely.
Ignore the advice of qualified people?
'Qualified people' told us the World Trade Centre and Building 7 fell down due to terrorist action by a bunch of chaps armed with Stanley knives!
My view in this low risk area is buy some re-usable ones and pay more attention to what you touch and what you do with your hands afterwards. I play a  game called 'spot when to use the hand sanitiser' when I'm out and about. Almost caught out after refuelling yesterday; despite not touching anything in the shop the pumps were unprotected.
There's a heap of 'qualified people's' evidence that masks do or don't make a difference. We can all choose what to believe, but meanwhile others will make things increasingly difficult for us if we don't conform.
