Refund of flight deposit from 3rd partook

We booked 4 return flights to Hawaii through a 3rd party. The flights have been cancelled and we are being offered a refund, minus a deposit of approx £50 on each ticket. Should we be charged this deposit? And if not any advice on getting it back would be gratefully received.

What were the t's and c's when you booked regarding cancellation? I think most agents will take a fee for the work they have done to date. Whether £50 per person is excessive or not is debatable.1

T&C's confusing regarding the cancellation by the airline - less so if we had cancelled. There is mention of no compensation being paid in the event of "Unavoidable and Extraordinary Circumstances" (& Brexit!!!) But there is mention of a full refund if flights are cancelled...
There is no contacting them by phone...0
