Ebay buyer return problems

Hello,
Looking for some advice please.
We sold a Canadian spa portable hot tub back in May, item was sold as seen etc with anyone welcome to inspect. Buyer asked to see tub running and disassembled which we happily obliged. Buyer was happy with item so paid for it and they collected it.
2 months down the line I receive a message on eBay stating the tub has sprung a leak and what was I going to do about it.
I've returned a message to say there is nothing I will do, 2 months later and I've no way to know how the item was treated. Hes now not messaging me through eBay but has taken to calling me instead. I haven't picked the phone up as I want anything relating to this issue to be written.
Anything else I can do here?

Are you a private seller, if so you have no further interest in this. Politely advise the buyer that it was a private sale, they inspected and accepted the item.
