My experience with Aperture is that they are not the quickest at answering queries even at the best of times - and these quite frankly are not the best of times. Presumably their equity team means that they are considering whether you should raise more funds towards your IVA by taking out an Equity Release Mortgage. This is what I had to do. They referred me to a company called Select Partnership who handled it all. Have they (or any other mortgage broker) approached you on Aperture's behalf?

Not heard anything. But can I contest the equity release with them not able to give a realistic property valuation because of the coronavirus

You will most likley have to pay for another 12 months in that situation.
