Outbound flight cancelled but inbound isnt

i booked a flight for me and my wife from London to Pisa return with Easyjet. It was on one booking reference
The outbound flight was cancelled by easyjet a few days ago and I applied for a refund. I assumed this would be for the whole booking.
easyjet have now emailed me saying the return flight is running
does my refund request cover both inbound and outbound flights? If not, should I request a voucher for the return flight?

Did you book them at the same time in the same transaction?0

You would have been best to phone for refund at which time you could have requested both flights refunded. Some people replace the cancelled flight with a flight from another airline so they don't appear to make any assumptions (or ask) whether you still want/need the other flight when you request online. (in the 'old days' pre covid, when you could manage everything online, when one flight was cancelled you could see both flights from the booking and keep, change or refund one or both of them)0

I am on the same situation as you Bob. Easyjet says, as the flight is running, I will have to pay £32 change fee. I booked both outgoing and incoming flights on one reference number in Jan this year. Now, if there was no flights from any carriers at the time, how was I suppose to get to my outgoing destination, to get the return flight. They also would not refund the £22.99 extra luggage fee. Bit naughty of Easyjet. At least they could of given me vouchers.0
