Redundancy - holiday pay entitlement

My holiday year runs from June to May. When we entered lockdown my company put a ban on new holiday requests but said unused holiday could be carried over to the new holiday year. I still had 4 days holiday owed and have accrued 4 more days to my redundancy date based on a pro rate of 25 days due / 12 months x 2 months worked = 4 days. I make that 8 days holiday pay owed.
What my company want to do is add the 4 days from last year onto this years entitlement and pro rata the whole lot i.e. 29 days / 12 months x 2 months worked = 5 days owed.
My argument is that I have already worked a whole year for last years holiday entitlement so my calculation is correct and I should get the 8 days holiday pay. Who is right?

you are for any carry over they count in full.
statutory min is 28 days and should be work out in weeks/days if needed.
9 weeks to the end of July( for a Mon-Fri worker) 4.8 days
if the allowance is 25+BH that would work out to 5.7days.0 -
Thanks - they have now agreed the carry over days count in full and will add to the pro rata'd entitlement0
