Use multiple available balances for one purchase

Hi, I have about 4 credits cards each with about £300-700 available balance -totalling about 4k  I would like to buy my son a car and want to use up all those balances Together in one...if that makes sense.I don’t want to withdraw cash of course ... they are all good deals, with 0 % interest on previous balance transfers. It’s like having a bit of cash available to me in different rooms of my house and I just want get it all together and basically spend it on one thing. Any ideas?
Thanks

It's going to be down to the retailer being willing to take the amounts from the different cards.

But your maths is a bit out....
    Even 4 x £700 does not make £4K

be careful, most 0 % balance transfer will charge you interest on anything and everything you buy, make sure you read small print before you buy anything. Even if you can use them with 0% interest, make sure you clear it off otherwise those  good deals might become quite expensive .

Yeah I’d be very careful. Is there not a chance you can move balances around or clear one of the cards? This sounds like it could get very messy and difficult to track.

So you want to max out 4 credit cards to buy a car for a third party?

I would suggest you have bigger issues.

Overlooking the question on if you should be getting yourself into this situation and the questionable maths... speak to the seller, its not that uncommon for large purchased to be paid for over multiple card payments either due to limits or because two different people are chipping in etc. They may be happy to run it through as four separate card payments - the impact to them will be minimal
