Coal in cupboard

Hi all I hope you are well. I've just bought a flat and in the outside cupboard for storage its filled with coal from many, many years ago, I have no idea what to do with all this coal, also has very strong smell, can anyone please advise?

Bag it up and give it to some pensioners that still have coal fires OR use it for your garden fire pit .You can always take it to the local tip and dispose of it.1

Put it on Facebook for sale collection only.1

The cupboard will stink of coal for years after it is no longer used for that purpose.
