Fidelity JISA and (Junior) SIPP Changes
Comments

Was just checking up on the above change to their JISA / child SIPP fees, and I am now unsure if they are charging for all transactions, i.e. OIECs? I have messaged them to see if they confirm there is now a transaction fee.
UPDATE: They have come back to me and there continues to be no transaction charges on investing using OIECs (would have been very disappointing otherwise).Personal Responsibility - Sad but True

Was just rooting round the Fidelity (junior) SIPP pages and I notice that they have reduced their minimum contribution to £25pm. Thought this might be of use to people considering it.
I have also messaged them to confirm if the 'standard' transfer in limit of a value of at least £10k is also applicable to (junior) SIPPs. If not, then I will be transferring our DD small SIPP across to Fidelity. It will probably save me over £6.50 over 2+ years (before 18).

So, Fidelity have confirmed that their standard minimum pension transfer value of £10k does not apply to SIPPs for juniors, no minimum.
JISA CLARIFICATION. Have just spotted in Fidelity's Q&A section that they do not currently support transferring in of JISAs

As you mentioned in your top of thread post Fidelity said in that "Miscellaneous Letter" of 22nd July which announced the removal of JISA fees that "From October, customers will be able to transfer Junior ISAs held with other investment providers onto our platform, using our new online feature."cloud_dog said:JISA CLARIFICATION. True. Have to admit I had forgotten about that. Perhaps that is why I never bothered researching further.

But I don't know where you got the 1st October from as the letter just seems to talk about October generally for this amazing "new online feature".cloud_dog said:True. Have to admit I had forgotten about that. Perhaps that is why I never bothered researching further.

Just had a look at the Fidelity letter, and it says "from October", so perhaps I was being optimistic on Fidelity's behalf.Personal Responsibility - Sad but True

At the bottom of their latest email today about their Cash Management Account they now hope to support JISA transfers "before the end of the year" and have setup a register your interest button to get contacted when it becomes available.
