Ryanair - moving flights a year ahead - don't know what to do

The two of us were scheduled to fly this weekend to Tallinn for two weeks, but the event we were attending has been moved to July 2021. Ryanair has not cancelled our flights so I'm not entitled to a refund. Travel insurance doesn't cover this situation. I have tried to move the flights to July 2021 but the website doesn't allow that, currently it only allows dates to late March 2021. I have previously telephoned the contact number and after considerable time on hold, managed to speak to an agent. He said he couldn't help me because he said if the dates aren't showing on the website then he can't book them for me either. I thought perhaps I could do an interim move to February 2021, then change again then to July 2021. But Ryanair's website is showing that by doing that I lose £244 non-refundable of our £511 flights (presumably due to fare differences) AND they want to charge me £180 for new fare differences and change fees. I'm worried that I am basically losing the value of my flights then when I go to book in February for popular July, I will have to repay the £244 plus more change fees and fare differences. I spent 45 minutes in the Live Chat with an Agent queue with no response at all, don't even know if it was working. I don't know what to do now. Do I just accept that I've lost £511 and book fresh next year? It feels like a complete rip-off.

It isnt Ryanairs problem that the event was cancelled to be honest, your only option is either to go anyway, or to move them twice, or not to go and lose the money.0

Unfortunately the event being moved isn't Ryanair's fault so your best bet is to hope the flights get cancelled nearer the time and you get a refund that way.
You should be able to get the tax part of booking refunded if you do cancel before departure0
