£20.38 spent at Lidl yesterday with £5 app coupon. Was going to wait until September to use it but this month is going to be really tight with an extra week so it made sense to stretch the money a bit further. Had forgotten my pay date was changing with a different job when I reduced my budget!
Total spend so far £88.63 so £1.37 left for rest of month

Going shopping today. Second time this month (except for eggs and milk which are doorstep deliveries). Hoping to keep it under £50 today but I am also hoping for plums, nectarines and maybe cherries. More or less self sufficient for veg though, with the exception of lettuces, where mine are providing a nectar source for the bees after bolting and seeding!Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

Since lockdown started our spending has been horrendous
. Mainly due to boredom and trying to keep the kids happy. I sat down yesterday and added up all our receipts so far and nearly swallowed my tongue, trying to spend the absolute minimum now at least until the end of the month. I'm hoping that I won't need to do another shop until at least Saturday - we still have lots in the freezers so I'm aiming to base most of our meals on that.

Hi all. I have had a few shopping trips and am now at £286.62/550. Like others, I made use of the Lidl £5 off voucher. I’ll try and talk dh into downloading the app so we can get another £5 off next week too.I’m hosting some family for lunch on Wednesday and as it’s going to be raining, I’m going to make a few different soups and bread rolls and probably pizza for the kids. Should work out cheap and straight forward.Today I made breakfast muffins, flapjack and a lemon drizzle cake. That should save me some money on cereal bars and ice creams. I’m hoping to continue being organised when the school year starts up again. X6

Morning all, doing ok for this month so far, spent £301.40/£450. I have loads in the freezer still and more than enough store cupboard ingredients so should be just the basic's to buy for the rest of the month - fruit and veg, bread, milk and sandwich fillings.
I'm off to catch up on how everyone else is doing.Grocery Challenge 2024

I've spent £210/£320 so far this month, with £110 remaining. Don't need anything for a couple of days and will get our Riverford veg box on Wednesday.7

£16.75 since my last spends at Tesco on some YS and Aldi on some fruit and soy yogurt. Also their discounted choc shots.
I have a load of scheeze in, and a full freezer. I've made porridge for the week, and a stir fry for dinner. I have some carrots and a pepper to use up for soup. I'm hoping the weather stays cool enough for soup!
I'm feeling ok about having about a tenner until my next delivery on the 30th. Also, I'm off visiting my bubble at the weekend, which contains a very good cook... I may make bread on Sunday night for the week. Still too hot for it today.
