Replacement shower pump quote

Our shower pump which was installed 18 months ago has stopped working. Plumber says it needs replacing and has quoted £320 + VAT to replace (I have to supply the pump on top of this).
Anyone know if this is reasonable? Seems a lot for what is apparently a couple of hours work?

Shouldn't it still be under warranty?0

The manufacturers are refusing the warranty on the grounds that it wasn't installed according to their specs. Unfortunately the chap who installed it passed away last year.0

What area of the country are you located in as that plays a big part, a few pictures of the install and all of the pipework will help to tell what needs doing aswell.
